For over ten years, EZ-Shim has been manufacturing its line of patented plastic construction shims at its manufacturing facilities in Lompoc, CA and Victor, IA.

Our newest product, Quick Align Hinge Shim, has been designed for use with 3.5 inch and 4 inch door hinges. There are three breakaway hinges per sheet, each hinge making a 1/16" adjustment when mounting the door and hinge. The shim may be installed in either direction of "slope" to cantilever the door into or away from the jamb. The shims can also be "stacked" for added adjustments in 1/16" increments. The hinge shims are packaged in clear bags (6 sets of 3 shims for the 3.5 inch hinges and 5 sets of 3 shims for the 4 inch hinges)

Our original product, EZ-Shim plastic shims, is up to four times stronger than conventional pine or cedar shims. EZ-Shim is available in three colors: sandstone for stonework or outdoor architecture, original black for general construction and white for plumbing & marine. These shims easily handle big nails and screws and will not warp, shrink, split or rot. Each shim is prescored and easily snaps off with a tap of a hammer. There are 10 shims per sheet and are available in bulk (36 sheets per box) or in polybags (2 sheets per bag and 18 per box).
